Here we are as in olden days, Happy golden days of yore. Faithful friends who are dear to us Gather near to us once more. Through the years We all will be together, If the Fates allow, Hang a shining star upon the highest bough. And have yourself A merry little CHRISTmas now. The heart warming Christmas song "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas" was immortalised by Judy Garland when she sang this song to Margaret O'Brien and brought tears to the eyes of the audience. The lyricist for Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas was Ralph Blane and the haunting music was composed by Hugh Martin. The song Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas was first published in 1943. The title of Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas is undoubtedly one of the saddest Christmas songs of the century.

Friends are not always beautiful as they look and they walk as they talk. Friends are beautiful as they are sincere as they care and as they remember. Happy New Year!

May GOD fill your life with love, joy and peace this CHRISTmas Season and throughout the New Year! The Song of the Angels: "Glory to GOD in the highest and on earth, Peace." ~ LUKE 2:14

"The Word Became Flesh" "'In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with GOD, and the Word was GOD."' ~ JOHN 1:1 (NIV)

Merry CHRISTMAS! Heavenly hosts sing Alleluia! CHRIST, the Saviour is born! ( "Silent Night" The origin of the Christmas carol we know as Silent Night was a poem that was written in 1816 by an Austrian priest called Joseph Mohr. On Christmas Eve in 1818 in the small alpine village called Oberndorf it is reputed that the organ at St. Nicholas Church had broken. Joseph Mohr gave the poem of Silent Night (Stille Nacht) to his friend Franz Xavier Gruber and the melody for Silent Night was composed with this in mind. The music to Silent Night was therefore intended for a guitar and the simple score was finished in time for Midnight Mass. Silent Night is the most famous Christmas carol of all time!

CHRISTmas Eve will find me Where the lovelight gleams I'll be home for CHRISTmas If only in my dreams. ( The song was written by the American lyricist Kim Gannon, and the Jewish-American composer Walter Kent. Buck Ram, who previously wrote a poem and song with the same title, was credited as a co-writer of the song following a lawsuit. The original 1943 release of the song by Bing Crosby on Decca Records listed only Walter Kent and Kim Gannon as the songwriters on the record label. Later pressings added the name of Buck Ram to the songwriting credit.

Fall on your knees! Oh, hear the angel voices! O night divine, the night when CHRIST was born; O night, O Holy Night , O night divine! ( The words and lyrics of the old carol 'O Holy Night' were written by Placide Cappeau de Roquemaure in 1847. Cappeau was a wine seller by trade but was asked by the parish priest to write a poem for Christmas. He obliged and wrote the beautiful words of the hymn. He then realised that it should have music to accompany the words and he approached his friend Adolphe Charles Adams(1803-1856).

Why don't you give love On CHRISTmas day (On CHRISTmas day) Oh, even the man Who has everything Would be so happy If you would bring Him love On CHRISTmas day (On CHRISTmas day) No greater gift Is there than love......( "Give Love on Christmas Day" is a Christmas song first recorded by Motown Records' family quintet The Jackson 5. Written by the label's songwriting-producing team, The Corporation (Berry Gordy, Freddie Perren, Christine Perren, Alphonzo Mizell and Deke Richards),[1] the song was recorded for the Jackson brothers' 1970 seasonal album, entitled The Jackson 5 Christmas Album.

I'm dreaming of a white CHRISTmas With every CHRISTmas card I write May your days be merry and bright And may all your CHRISTmases be white......( "White CHRISTmas" The song White Christmas is undoubtedly the most famous and popular of all the Christmas songs. The music and lyrics for White Christmas were written by Irving Berlin in 1942 and originally featured in the movie Holiday Inn starring Bing Crosby. The lyrics of White Christmas struck a chord with the soldiers fighting in the Second World War and their families who were waiting for them back home. The song and recording of White Christmas by Bing Crosby with John Scott Trotter's orchestra and the Ken Darby Singers was so popular that it was later reprised in the movie called after its name - White Christmas.

With the angelic host proclaim: "CHRIST is born in Bethlehem" Hark! The herald angels sing "Glory to the newborn King!....... “Hark the Herald Angels Sing” Christmas Carol was written by Charles Wesley, brother of John Wesley founder of the Methodist church, in 1739.("
